Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure
Appointment of Curtis L. Anderson as Chief Credit Officer

On May 16, 2024, Veritex Holdings, Inc. ("Veritex" or the "Company") and Veritex Community Bank (the “Bank”) announced the appointment of Curtis L. Anderson ("Mr. Anderson") as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of the Company. The Bank is a subsidiary of the registrant, Veritex. The Company completed a nationwide search for potential candidates prior to the appointment.

Mr. Anderson has served as our Executive Credit Officer at the Bank since January 2023. Mr. Anderson will be responsible for the Bank’s credit quality, credit underwriting and administration functions. From 2015 to 2023, Mr. Anderson served in various capacities at Texas Capital Bank, including Chief Credit Officer. Prior to his time at Texas Capital Bank, Mr. Anderson served in various credit functions at Bank of America for nearly 30 years.
